4. SMS Communications

Program Description: K2reservations uses SMS messaging (powered by Twilio) to send transactional and operational notifications, including but not limited to: booking confirmations and reminders, payment receipts, schedule changes, account alerts, and facility announcements.

Consent & Opt-In: SMS messages are sent only to users who have explicitly opted in by providing their phone number and agreeing to receive text messages via our platform registration, booking process, or other consent mechanism. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity and the notifications enabled for your account. You may receive up to several messages per week depending on your bookings and account settings.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates may apply for SMS messages received.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may opt back in at any time by replying START or by updating your notification preferences in your account settings.

Data Protection: No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies in addition to all other data-sharing limitations described in this policy.

Supported Carriers: Service may not be available on all carriers. Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and other major US carriers. Carrier liability is not assumed by K2reservations.

Payment processors (Stripe) to facilitate transactions
SMS delivery providers (Twilio) solely to deliver messages you have consented to receive
Cloud hosting providers for infrastructure and data storage
Partner facilities — player and customer data is shared with the specific facility the customer interacts with
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, secure authentication (JWT), role-based access controls, and regular security audits. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Partnership and transaction data is retained in accordance with applicable financial record-keeping requirements. SMS opt-in consent records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with applicable telecommunications regulations. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
